Short answer
Thinking about sharing your work on MyFans as a creator? Creator registration is the first step, and a little preparation makes it go smoothly. Here’s what you need, what has to match, and what happens after you apply.
Who can register
Creators must be at least 18 years old (18歳以上). You also need to complete identity verification and agree to MyFans’ terms and content policy.
If anyone else appears in your content, MyFans requires consent from everyone who appears (出演者全員), covering filming, publication, distribution and sale. MyFans may ask for documents that support that consent, so keep them organised.

Registration comes before posting and payouts
Creator registration has to be completed before you can create posts or withdraw revenue. So it’s worth doing first, before you plan your first post.
The bank-account owner (所有者様) must be the person who registers as the creator. If the names don’t match, payment may not go through, so register under the same name as the account you’ll be paid into.
Where to start
Go to Account, then Contract/Registration Status (契約・登録状況), then Creator Registration (クリエイター登録).
Enter your details exactly as they appear on your documents
Your name, address and birth date must match your documents exactly (完全一致). That includes the full address details, so copy them character for character.
Choosing your verification route
If you have one of the eKYC documents MyFans lists, you’ll use the external verification route. If you don’t have one, use the two-document route shown in MyFans’ official instructions (上記以外(2点必要)).
Application, review and approval
Seeing an application-complete screen means your application was sent, not that it was approved. MyFans says review may take about three business days (3営業日).
Once you’re approved, the account menu shows Registered (登録済み). If it shows Denied, your application wasn’t accepted and you’ll need to apply again.
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Application-complete screen | Your application was sent; this isn’t approval |
| Review | May take about three business days |
| Registered (登録済み) in the account menu | Approved |
| Denied in the account menu | Not approved; apply again |
Choices you can’t undo
Once creator registration is completed, it can’t be reversed. The audience category you choose during registration can’t be changed later (後から変更ができない), so take your time with that choice.
Once you’re registered, see creator payouts for fees and transfer dates, and creator uploads for file limits.
