What Is MyFans? Japan’s OnlyFans, Explained
MyFans (myfans.jp) is a Japanese creator-subscription platform. Fans pay a creator monthly to see their posts, or buy individual posts. If you know OnlyFans, the idea is the same — the creators, language and payment details are what differ.
How it works
Creators publish photos, videos and text posts. Some posts are free; most sit behind a monthly plan or a one-off price.
A creator can offer several plans at different prices, and each plan unlocks a different set of posts. Before you subscribe, check which plan includes the posts you actually want.
Plans renew automatically on the same date each month. You’re charged when you join and at every renewal, and MyFans adds a purchase fee at checkout.
Why fans outside Japan use it
Many Japanese cosplayers, gravure models, idols and illustrators publish on MyFans rather than OnlyFans, so MyFans may be the only place to support them directly.
MyFans says foreign users can register and can use the service from overseas when paying by credit card.
What’s different from OnlyFans
Currency: MyFans prices are listed in Japanese yen, and your card company converts the charge. OnlyFans prices are in US dollars.
Language: MyFans has an interface language setting, but most creators write in Japanese. OnlyFans is English-first.
Plans: a MyFans creator can run several monthly plans, each unlocking different posts. Each plan is a separate subscription, so cancelling one does not cancel the others.
