MyFans in English: Language, Search and Key Japanese Terms
MyFans has an English interface, but creator pages, plan names and search terms are mostly Japanese. This guide gets you around it.
Step by step
- Use the built-in language settingChange the display language in Language settings (言語設定). MyFans warns that browser auto-translation can break buttons and some actions — including phone verification — so turn browser translation off on myfans.jp.
- Search by genre or tagMyFans search covers genres (ジャンル), tags (タグ), creators (クリエイター) and posts (投稿), and you can combine up to three genre or tag conditions.
- Search in Japanese scriptHiragana, katakana and kanji are treated as different words, so うらあか won’t find 裏垢. Copy the exact Japanese term from the table below.
- Browse rankingsOpen Ranking (ランキング) at the bottom of the screen, then “All genres” (全ジャンルはこちら) to see the top creators in each category.

Why content is censored
Under Japanese rules, MyFans requires creators to hide genitals with a mosaic at a set strength, and removes posts or penalises accounts that don’t. All adult content on MyFans is mosaicked — that’s the platform rule, not a creator’s choice.
