Short answer
Search for “MyFans” outside Japan and you’ll find several different services with almost the same name. They are separate companies with separate accounts. This page is about the Japanese one, myfans.jp, and how to make sure that’s where you are.
Which site is which
We describe each service only in its own words, as published on its own site. We haven’t used or tested any of them, and we make no judgement about them. They are simply different services.
| Address | What the site says about itself | Related to myfans.jp? |
|---|---|---|
| myfans.jp | A Japanese fan-club service. Its terms of use are issued by 株式会社Rise and define the service’s website as https://myfans.jp/. | This is the Japanese MyFans covered on this site. |
| my.fans | Its About page (in French) describes it as a French creator-monetisation platform, built by a team based in France. | No. It is a different service. |
| myfans.se | Its home page calls it “The Swedish Content Creators Platform”. | No. It is a different service. |
| hellomyfans.com | Its home page describes “MyFans” as a free broadcasting and streaming app for creators. | No. It is a different service. |
| OhMyFans and other look-alikes | We couldn’t load an official About page for this, so we don’t describe it. | No. It is a different company and site, so check the domain. |
An account on one of these services doesn’t work on another. Subscriptions, payments, refunds and support are handled separately by each company. If you bought something and can’t find it, first check which site you actually paid.
How to make sure you’re on the real myfans.jp
Check the address bar. MyFans’ terms define its website as https://myfans.jp/. Creator pages sit under that address, and the help centre is at support.myfans.jp. A site with “myfans” somewhere else in its name, or a different ending such as .fans, .se or .com, is not myfans.jp.
Log in only on myfans.jp. Our suggestion: never type your MyFans email and password into a page whose address isn’t myfans.jp. If you signed up through X, use the “Twitterでログイン” (log in with X) button on myfans.jp itself.
Check where emails come from. MyFans’ help centre names myfans.jp as its email domain and asks you to allow it so verification emails reach you. Treat an email claiming to be from MyFans that comes from another domain with caution.
Be wary of “MyFans apps”. MyFans’ help centre describes using the service in a browser: Safari on iPhone and iPad, Chrome on Android, and Chrome, Edge or Safari on a computer. It doesn’t describe an iPhone or Android app. An app store listing called “MyFans” may well be one of the other services above. See our phone and desktop guide.
Use the official contact route. For account or payment problems, MyFans directs users to its contact form at support.myfans.jp/hc/ja/requests/new. Don’t send card or login details to anyone else offering to “fix” your MyFans account.
What MyFans says about look-alikes
MyFans’ logo rules forbid others from presenting themselves as an official MyFans site or account, from implying a partnership MyFans hasn’t given, and from pretending to send MyFans’ own notices. So any site or message that claims to be “official MyFans” but isn’t on myfans.jp is a red flag. That conclusion is ours, drawn from those rules.
MyFans’ terms also say that people under 18 can’t use the service. If a site with a similar name doesn’t carry the same rules, that’s another sign it’s a different service.
Where JapanCreatorFind fits
JapanCreatorFind is an independent English-language guide. It is not MyFans, and MyFans doesn’t own, run or endorse it. We never ask for your MyFans login or payment details. When you press a “View on MyFans” button, our link takes you to the creator’s page on myfans.jp, where you log in and pay with MyFans directly. Some of those links are affiliate links, and pages that contain them are labelled PR.
If you’re new to the Japanese service, start with what MyFans is, then read is MyFans safe? for the platform’s rules and age policy. If a login on myfans.jp itself isn’t working, see sign-up and login problems.
