How to tell you're paying the real creator

Popular creators get copied. Fake accounts on social media use their photos and push fans to pay outside the platform. A few simple checks keep your money going to the real person.

Five checks

  1. Open the creator's page on myfans.jp itself (the address bar should say myfans.jp).
  2. Follow the link from the creator's own verified social account, or from a directory that links straight to myfans.
  3. Pay only inside myfans, with the methods it lists (cards, BitCash, Paidy, atone, pay-later).
  4. Treat requests to pay by bank transfer, gift cards or crypto, or to move to another app, as a red flag.
  5. myfans requires creators to complete ID and age verification before they can post or earn.

Report the account on the platform where you saw it, and don't send money outside myfans.
