Short answer
Found a creator’s BOOTH shop and wondering what happens after you buy? Start with the item type. A download and a parcel take different routes, especially when you live outside Japan.
Start with the product type
BOOTH’s shopping guide separates downloads, items sent by the shop owner, and items dispatched from its warehouse. Read which type the listing offers before choosing it.
This guide is about buying a particular work or item. For the different idea of ongoing support, see FANBOX outside Japan.
Where your download appears
After BOOTH confirms payment for a download, its guide directs you to Purchase History. A physical parcel is handled differently: the shop owner or warehouse dispatches it after payment confirmation.
If you expected a file but see delivery information, go back to the listing and check the product type. That is a useful first check before asking the shop about the order.
The overseas-address catch
BOOTH’s overseas shopping help says physical orders cannot use an overseas address directly. It names Tenso and Buyee as services through which overseas shoppers can buy.
That general help answer does not establish that a particular item or destination is accepted by a forwarding service. Check the item’s conditions and the service’s rules before deciding to order.
Choosing between a one-off purchase and monthly support? Compare BOOTH and FANBOX.
