Want to give a Fantia creator a little more than your plan’s price? Extra support (上乗せ支援) is the feature for that: an amount you add on top of a monthly plan. Here’s what it adds, when the money is taken, and how far ahead a change takes effect.
What extra support is
Extra support is an amount you add on top of a monthly plan when you buy it or when it renews: anything from JPY 100 to JPY 100,000. The creator receives that amount after fees are deducted. It’s support, not an upgrade. The content of the creator’s monthly plan stays exactly the same, so adding money doesn’t open anything the plan didn’t already include.
When the money is taken
There are two charging moments. If you add extra support while joining a new plan, it’s charged when you join. If you’re already supporting, the extra amount is charged together with the monthly plan fee when the plan renews on the 1st of each month.

Support points and what the creator sees
Each yen of extra support earns one Fantia support point, so JPY 500 of extra support earns 500 points. On the creator’s side, the extra-support amount and the cumulative total appear on their fan-management page, so your extra support doesn’t go unnoticed.
Changing or stopping the amount
Fantia points you to your joined-clubs page, where you set the extra-support amount for future months. To stop, set it to zero yen.
Timing is the part to watch. Once you submit a setting, next month’s extra-support amount is fixed. Amounts for the months after that can be changed from the 2nd of next month. So a change applies to future months, not to an amount that’s already been fixed.
Extra support or a different plan?
