myfans Revival Plans by the Month

Updated and checked against the myfans help centre on 2 November 2026

Short answer

On some creators' profiles there is a tab labelled 復刻 (fukkoku, "revival" or "reissue"). Under it, some creators offer a single-month purchase: instead of subscribing to a plan, or buying a whole back catalogue, you buy one past month at a time, choosing the month whose posts you want to view. The feature exists only where the creator has set it up. If the tab or the purchase link is not on a profile, that creator is not offering it, and the official help gives no other route to the same month through this feature.

Learn how to buy a single past month and compare the other ways to view older posts.

What a single-month revival purchase is

The official Japanese article for users, "復刻プラン単月購入(ユーザー様向け)", describes the feature in a short overview. It is based on months whose publication period has ended. You can buy those months one month at a time. The article then draws the distinction that defines the feature, against the revival plan itself: the difference is whether you buy and view month by month, or view expired posts bundled together. A revival plan gathers expired posts into one purchase. A single-month revival purchase lets you take only the month you want.

The article adds a viewing rule that will matter to anyone who has lost access to a post before. When you use the single-month revival purchase, you can still view the content even after the creator deletes the post. Hold that against the platform's general rules for other purchase types, set out below, because they are not the same.

One availability limit controls everything else in this guide. The feature is not shown at all on a creator who has not set up single-month purchasing. There is no setting on the fan's side that reveals it, and no official statement that a creator can be asked through the platform to enable it.

How it differs from the other ways of buying older posts

myfans has several ways of reaching posts that are no longer current, and the official English help centre translates two of them in ways that collide, so this guide follows the Japanese terms and flags the translation problem where it occurs. A revival plan (復刻プラン) is where posts whose publication period has expired end up. The official Japanese article on revival plans says expired posts are automatically assigned to the revival plan regardless of the plan they were in, and that users can newly join only the most recently created revival plan. The English version of that article is titled "About Back Number Plans", which renders 復刻プラン as "Back Number Plan". A back number, in the Japanese help centre's use of the word (バックナンバー), is a feature inside some regular plans. Under the official Japanese article, when you join such a plan you can view the current month and the previous month. Older months are unlocked free as you continue subscribing, at a pace the creator sets; if the creator has not set a pace, one past month is unlocked for every two months of continued subscription. You can also buy a past month from the plan's backnumber tab, but both buying and viewing are possible only while you are subscribed. It is not a purchase you keep: when you cancel, you lose the plan's posts and the backnumber months together, and rejoining the same plan does not restore your previous backnumber status. Posts whose publication period has expired are outside this feature entirely; the Japanese article says they require a revival plan or a single-month revival purchase. The English version of this article translates "back number" as "Continuation Bonus" throughout, and its closing sentence says expired posts can be viewed only by separately purchasing "the back number", using the English label for what the Japanese calls the revival plan or single-month revival purchase. This guide follows the Japanese wording. A single post purchase is different again. The official English article on deleted posts covers buyers of single items directly. If a creator deletes their own post, a person who bought that post as a single item can still view it, at the account page for bought single items. If the operator deletes a post, for a violation of law or of the terms of use, the post cannot be viewed even if it was bought as a single item. And for plans, the same article states the harsher rule: once a post is deleted, it becomes unavailable for viewing under a plan. So the routes are: a revival plan (expired posts, gathered automatically), a single-month revival purchase (one expired month, bought on its own), backnumber unlocks inside a plan (older months that have not expired, held only while subscribed), and single post purchases. The names overlap in translation. The rules do not.

How to buy a single month

The official article gives the procedure in five steps. Open the creator's profile screen. Select the 復刻 (revival) tab in the post list. Select the link for single-month revival purchase ("復刻プラン単月購入はこちら"). Select the month you want. Then proceed on the purchase confirmation screen that follows selecting "購入する" (buy). The article for this feature does not say which payment methods apply to it; the payment article lists methods by sales type, so check the payment screen. Before any payment, your phone number must be verified, and the usual verification limits apply: one number verifies one account, and numbers beginning with 050 cannot be used.

The price of a month is the price shown on that creator's purchase screen for that month. The official article for this feature does not publish a price range, a standard price, or whether the purchase fee treatment differs from other purchases, and this guide does not supply figures of its own. Read the confirmation screen, which is the step the official procedure itself ends on.

After you have bought a month

Your record sits in the same place as every other myfans purchase. The purchase history screen lists the product type, the creator name, the amount and the date, including automatic renewals, and, for card payments, the last four digits of the card. Use it to confirm which months you have already bought, since a creator may offer several adjacent months that are easy to confuse.

Two questions are not answered by the official article for this feature, and this guide leaves them open rather than borrowing answers from neighbouring features. It does not state what happens to a single-month revival purchase if you later cancel an unrelated plan with the same creator, and it does not state what happens if the creator closes the plan or the account. The rules for back numbers and for continuation-bonus unlocks are stated for those features, and they end access on cancellation, but the official text does not transfer those rules to this purchase type. If either point decides a purchase for you, ask myfans support before paying, and keep the answer with your purchase record.

If the tab is not there

Work through the ordinary explanations first. The creator may not have enabled single-month purchases, which the official article names as the reason the feature is not displayed. The month you want may not be a month whose publication period has ended, which is the basis the feature is built on. Or the posts you are looking for may be offered through one of the other routes instead: check whether the creator has a revival plan, which is where expired posts are gathered; check whether the posts are sold as single items; and check whether the plan you are considering includes back numbers, the in-plan feature for older months, which is shown on the screen before you join a plan that supports it. What you should not do is buy a neighbouring month or a different product on the assumption that it contains the same posts. Which posts sit in which month and which product is the creator's own arrangement, and the confirmation screen for the specific month is the only statement of what you are buying.

Quick answers

Is a single-month revival purchase a subscription?

The official article describes buying a chosen past month as a purchase, not as joining a plan. It does not describe a renewal.

Can I still watch if the creator deletes the post?

Yes. The official article states that with this purchase type, viewing remains possible after the creator deletes the post. Operator deletions are covered by a separate official rule for single purchases, under which the post cannot be viewed; this guide does not extend that rule beyond the article's wording.

Why can I not see the single-month purchase link?

The creator has not set up single-month purchasing. The feature is not displayed in that case.

Is this the same as a back number?

No. In the Japanese help centre, a back number is a feature inside a plan that unlocks older, not-yet-expired months while you stay subscribed. A single-month revival purchase buys one month whose publication period has already ended. Note that the English help centre uses "Back Number Plans" as the title of its article about revival plans, and "Continuation Bonus" for back numbers, so the English labels do not line up with the Japanese ones.

How much does a month cost?

The official article publishes no range. The price is the one on the creator's purchase confirmation screen for that month.
