Short answer
Spotted a public pixiv request you’d love to see finished? A co-request lets you join it and support the same work alongside the original requester. Here’s what you get, what other people can see, and what you can’t undo.
Which requests you can join
A co-request works on a public request that’s still in progress. You offer the creator the same amount as the original request, so everyone who joins backs the work equally.
Whether you can co-request may depend on your country or region. For how an ordinary request works from start to finish, see the pixiv Requests guide.
What you get as a co-requester
Joining is more than a show of support. Co-requesters can access the work’s URL-restricted links and its gift files, and can send the creator Fan Letters.
For the deadline, privacy and delivery of your thank-you note, see pixiv Fan Letters.
Your message is public, even when you’re anonymous
Adding a message is optional, and it’s limited to 140 characters. Whatever you write there is public.
Co-requesting anonymously hides your account information from the creator and other users. It doesn’t hide your message, which stays public even on an anonymous co-request. So write it as something anyone can read, and leave out anything you’d rather keep to yourself.

Before you submit
A submitted co-request can’t be canceled later. Take a moment to reread the request and your message before you send it.
Extra usage permissions stay with the original request
If the original requester was granted additional usage permissions, those don’t extend to co-requesters. Joining a request doesn’t give you the same extra uses the original requester asked for. For how usage permissions fit into a request, see the pixiv request usage permissions.
