myfans Account Suspended: What the Official Help Says

Updated and checked against the myfans help centre on 2 November 2026

Short answer

If your myfans account has been suspended, the official help centre points to one cause above all others for users: refund requests that myfans treats as fraudulent. The English version of the suspension article, updated on 2 November 2026, says that for a user, fraudulent refund requests were made, and adds that this is almost always the case. It then gives the warning this guide exists to pass on accurately: if an improper refund request is made to the credit card company despite using myfans, it will be reported to the police organization as a fraud. Asking your card company to reverse a charge for a service you used is, on the official wording, the act most likely to end an account. If you cannot log in but have made no refund request, work through the login causes first, because most of them are not suspension.

The grounds, in the fuller Japanese text

The English suspension article is four lines long. The Japanese version of the same article is longer, and this guide sets out both rather than treating the short version as the whole account. The Japanese text lists the conduct that leads to suspension: operations that lead to misuse of the service; posting or sending by direct message, repeatedly, images or videos without the required mosaic; posting unmosaicked images on a profile, repeatedly; repeated violations other than the mosaic rules; and posts that violate the Terms of Use. Most of that list is written for creators, and the same article's penalty section is creator-facing as well: from a second offence, penalties can include a period in which payouts are stopped, a change to the fee rate, and in some cases confiscation of sales, with repeated violations leading to a permanent freeze.

Two parts of the Japanese text apply to anyone. First, suspension can also follow payment events on the user side: where the card company reports a fraudulent payment, and where the customer themselves contacts the card company to say they do not recognise a charge, the account may be suspended. That is the Japanese counterpart of the English article's refund warning, and it is broader than refunds alone: disputing a genuine charge as unrecognised sits in the same category. Second, the article states what happens after a permanent freeze: inquiries about it are not accepted. There is no appeal procedure in the official text, and this guide does not invent one.

The article also covers a milder event that users sometimes mistake for suspension. When a post is deleted, an email is sent stating the reason for the deletion and the URL of the deleted post; the article advises checking the spam folder if it does not arrive. A deleted post is not a suspended account, and the email is the official record of which one happened.

Suspension, or a login problem?

A suspended account and a failed login look similar from the sign-in screen, and the official help treats them in different articles. The login article (the Japanese version is fuller than the English one) gives the ordinary causes. You registered through X (Twitter) linking and have only ever used that route: accounts registered that way have no password set at first, so email login fails until a password is issued. The email address was entered incorrectly, including case and character-width differences, or the account sits under a different email address than the one you are trying. Email authentication was never completed, in which case the address is treated as unregistered and login is impossible. Or the password is wrong, which the article answers with password reissue.

The same article adds a lock that is neither suspension nor a wrong password. If login fails repeatedly within a short period, login may be restricted for security reasons, and you then need to wait three to four days before trying again; the article advises against repeated attempts with the same email address in a short time. It also warns against the mistake that makes everything worse: accidentally registering a new account while trying to log in, which can leave you unable to reach the original account. If you have a plan or purchases on the account you cannot reach, do not create a replacement account; that is the route the official text warns against, not a workaround.

What happens to your plans and purchases

The suspension articles do not say. Neither the English nor the Japanese version states what happens to plans you are subscribed to, posts you have bought, or money already paid, while an account is suspended or after a permanent freeze, and the cancellation and refund articles do not cover suspension either. This guide therefore makes no claim in either direction. If the value at stake is large, that gap is the reason to use the contact form below and to keep the reply: it is the only statement you will get that is about your account rather than about accounts in general.

What you can do

The Japanese suspension article ends with the route for anyone who does not recognise the grounds: if you have no idea why, contact myfans through the inquiry form. Set against that the same article's limit, which a suspended user should know before writing: after a permanent freeze, inquiries are not accepted. The official text does not explain how a user is told which of the two states their account is in, and this guide does not fill that gap either.

Practical order of work. First, rule out the login causes above, including the three-to-four-day restriction after repeated failures, and wait that period out rather than retrying. Second, check your email, including the spam folder, for a deletion or other notice from myfans. Third, if none of that explains it and you have made no refund request or charge dispute, use the inquiry form and say so plainly. Do not, at any point in that sequence, ask your card company to reverse charges for the service you used: on the official wording, that is a step the help centre itself lists as a ground for suspension.

Quick answers

Why do user accounts get suspended?

The English help article says fraudulent refund requests, and that this is almost always the case. The Japanese text adds card-company reports of fraudulent payment and users disputing charges they do not recognise.

I disputed a charge I did not recognise. Is that the same thing?

The Japanese article lists exactly that situation — contacting the card company about an unrecognised charge — as something that can lead to suspension.

Is there an appeal?

No appeal procedure is published. The Japanese article gives the inquiry form for users who do not recognise the grounds, and states that after a permanent freeze, inquiries are not accepted.

I cannot log in. Am I suspended?

Not necessarily. X-linked registration without a password, an incomplete email authentication, a wrong email or password, and the three-to-four-day restriction after repeated failed logins all produce the same screen without any suspension.

What happens to my subscriptions while suspended?

The official help does not state this. Ask through the inquiry form about your own account.
