Tips, DMs and single purchases on myfans
Beyond monthly plans, myfans has three other ways to pay a creator: tips and super comments, paid content sent by DM, and buying individual posts. Each has different price rules, payment methods and refund treatment. Here is what the official help states about each — including what it does not state.
Single purchases do not renew
Creators can set a lower price for paid-plan members on individual posts. When a member price is offered, it is applied automatically. Members of a free plan only pay the regular price. Check the post page for the applicable price. Read about plan-member prices (official help: Japanese).
A single-post purchase is a one-time payment: it does not renew and has no subscription to cancel. This is separate from any monthly plan you have joined.
If a purchased post cannot be viewed, use the official contact form. The official help does not publish a separate refund rule for single posts.

Tips and super comments
- Tips: ¥100–¥5,000. Official pages give different super comment limits: ¥100–¥5,000 and ¥100–¥50,000.
- A super comment is a paid comment on a post; comment text is required.
- Payment: the official payment-methods table allows credit card (Visa/Mastercard/JCB) or Paidy only; BitCash, atone and deferred payment can't be used. (An older 2021 how-to lists BitCash for super comments; we follow the current table and flag the difference.)
- Not stated officially: refunds, how the creator is notified.
Messages and DM-exclusive sales
- Message rooms open "depending on your usage and settings", so one may not be open with every creator. Whether plan membership is required is not stated.
- DM-exclusive sales: paid content a creator sends inside a DM. Only recipients can buy; tap Buy, confirm, and it unlocks. Price is set per DM — the price in the DM you received applies.
- Payment: card, BitCash, Paidy, atone or deferred payment.
- Refunds: in principle not accepted.

Single purchases
- Buy posts one by one without joining. ¥100–¥50,000 per post; creators can set a member price.
- After buying: if the creator deletes the post, you can still view it via its URL; if myfans removes it for a violation, or the creator leaves myfans, access ends.
- Not stated: a refund rule for single purchases.
Back numbers (older months) — read before you cancel
Right after joining you see the current and previous month. Older months are bought per month. If you cancel the plan, both plan posts and purchased back numbers become unviewable, and re-joining does not restore them.

FAQ
Q. Can I tip with BitCash or atone? A. Per the official table, no — tips and super comments are card or Paidy only.
Q. A creator sent me paid content by DM. Can anyone buy it? A. No; only recipients of that DM, at that DM's price.
Q. I bought a post. Is it mine forever? A. It survives the creator deleting the post, but not the creator leaving myfans or a removal by myfans.
Q. Can I message a creator before joining? A. Rooms open depending on usage and settings; plan membership isn't stated as required, and a room isn't guaranteed.
