What Can You See on MyFans? Free Posts and Older Posts
Joining a plan doesn’t always unlock a creator’s entire history. Here is what you can see for free, what a plan unlocks straight away, and how to reach older posts.
Free to view
Any post a creator hasn’t attached to a paid plan or a single-purchase price can be seen by all MyFans users — you need an account, but you don’t pay.
Some creators run free (¥0) plans. Posts in a free plan are only visible after you join that plan, even though it costs nothing.
Creator blogs marked FREE can be read in full; other blog posts have a free opening and a paid section.
Plans with loyalty unlocks (継続特典)
Some plans use loyalty unlocks. When you join, you can see the current month’s and the previous month’s posts; earlier posts stay locked.
Each time you complete the creator’s set number of months, more older posts unlock at no extra cost. If the creator hasn’t set a pace, one past month unlocks for every two months you stay subscribed.
The post count shown before you join is the total in the plan, not what you can see on day one. The plan page tells you whether loyalty unlocks apply and the unlock pace.
Don’t want to wait? On the plan’s loyalty tab (継続特典) you can buy individual past months while subscribed. These are not permanent purchases: if you cancel the plan, you lose them.
Back numbers (バックナンバー)
Creators can give posts a publication period. When it ends, the post moves to the creator’s back-number plan if they run one, and joining that plan unlocks every expired post.
Some creators also sell single back-number months. Find them on the creator’s profile under the バックナンバー tab. A month bought this way stays viewable even if the creator later deletes those posts.
Creators to start with
≈ amounts are a rough guide in USD using the Thu, 08 Oct 2026 rate from Rates By Exchange Rate API. MyFans charges in yen, adds a purchase fee at checkout, and your card company sets the final exchange rate and any overseas fee.
Quick answers
I subscribed — why can’t I see older posts?
The plan probably uses loyalty unlocks: you see this month and last month first, and older months unlock as you stay subscribed. You can also buy past months on the plan’s 継続特典 tab.
Do I keep unlocked posts if I cancel?
No. Plan posts, loyalty unlocks and past months bought through a plan all close when you cancel. Single posts and single back-number months you bought are separate purchases.
Can I see anything without paying?
Yes — posts not tied to a plan or price are free to all users, and free (¥0) plans only need you to join.
