Paid but Can’t See a Post on MyFans? Causes and Fixes

Updated 8 October 2026 · Based on MyFans’ official help centre

Paying for a plan or post and then finding it locked or blank is frustrating, especially when the error messages are in Japanese. Most cases have a simple cause. Work through this guide before contacting MyFans support.

The usual causes are: the post isn’t in the plan you joined, its publication period has ended and it has moved to a back-number plan, your orientation setting is all-ages, you’re logged in to a different account, the post was deleted, or your plan was cancelled or its renewal payment failed. If none of those apply, reload, turn off browser translation and extensions, clear your cache or try another browser.

Step by step

  1. Check you’re on the right accountMake sure you’re logged in to the account you paid with, not a second one.
  2. Check your orientation settingIf it’s set to all-ages (全年齢), adult posts are hidden — including ones you’ve bought. Switch it to 一般アダルト or ゲイ・BL from the gender icon on Home.
  3. Find the post in your librarySingle purchases are under Account → Purchased/Saved (購入・保存) → Library (ライブラリ) → Purchased (購入済み); plan posts under Subscribed plans (加入中のプラン).
  4. Check the plan’s statusIn Subscribed plans, look for “決済失敗中” (payment failed) or a plan you’ve cancelled.
  5. Try the browser fixesReload, turn off translation and extensions, use private mode, try another browser or device, or clear the cache.

The post isn’t in your plan

Each creator decides which posts go into each plan, and joining a more expensive plan doesn’t guarantee you can see everything. If a post stays locked, it may belong to a different plan or be sold only as a single purchase.

On plans with loyalty unlocks (継続特典), you see only this month’s and last month’s posts at first; older months open as you stay subscribed. See our plans explained guide.

If a video plays only a short clip, you may be watching the sample. MyFans shows samples only to people who haven’t joined or bought; once you have, you get the full video. If the creator cut the sample from the full video, that part is also included when you watch the full version.

Some posts are images only. MyFans notes that fans sometimes take an image post for a video that won’t play.

The post has expired or isn’t out yet

Creators can give posts a publication period. When it ends, the post moves automatically to the creator’s back-number plan, whichever plan it was in. To see it again you need to join that back-number plan, if the creator runs one, or buy the post singly if they’ve made that possible. Our free posts and older posts guide covers both.

A post marked 予約投稿 (scheduled post) hasn’t been published yet. Before release you’ll see a countdown and, for videos, possibly the sample; you can buy or view it only after it goes live. You can tap “公開時に通知” to be notified when it does.

Your plan was cancelled or a payment failed

Cancelling a monthly plan ends access to its posts immediately, not at the end of the month. The exception is a bundle bought from 14 November 2025, which stays viewable until the bundle period ends. See our cancellation guide.

If a card renewal fails, the plan shows “決済失敗中” (payment failed) and its paid posts lock. You have 14 days to update your payment method and pay again before the plan is cancelled automatically — our card declined guide walks through it.

The post was deleted

A deleted post shows “404 Not Found”. If the creator deleted a post you bought singly, you can still view it from your Purchased library. If MyFans removed it for breaking the law or its terms, or the creator closed their account, you lose access even to single purchases. Posts in a plan can’t be viewed once deleted, whoever deleted them.

If you see a screen saying some pages may not display because of high traffic (アクセス急増に伴い…), MyFans says the most common reason is that the post has been deleted. Other causes are a block on either side, a faulty link from outside MyFans, such as from X, or your connection.

Browser and device fixes

MyFans suggests working through these: check you haven’t blocked the creator; reload the page; switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data; use private (incognito) mode; turn off browser extensions and page translation; restart your device; try another browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge — or another device; and update your operating system and browser.

Cache and cookies can also cause playback or display problems. On iPhone, go to Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data. On Android, open Chrome’s menu → Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data, and tick “Cached images and files”. Clearing data may log you out of other sites too.

On iPhone and iPad, MyFans says Safari’s “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” and “Block All Cookies” settings can stop it working properly; try turning them off. MyFans also recommends keeping your browser and operating system up to date.

Contacting MyFans support

If nothing works, use MyFans’ contact form and include the post’s URL, your device, your browser, the error shown, a screenshot of the error screen and the fixes you’ve already tried. If you think a plan didn’t match its description, our refunds guide covers what MyFans says about that.

Quick answers

I bought a post and now it’s gone. Can I get it back?

If the creator deleted it, it should still be in your Purchased library. If MyFans removed it, or the creator closed their account, it can’t be viewed even though you bought it.

Why are all adult posts hidden, even ones I’ve paid for?

Your orientation setting is probably all-ages (全年齢), which hides adult posts, including purchased ones. Change it to 一般アダルト or ゲイ・BL.

My plan shows 決済失敗中. What does it mean?

Your renewal payment failed and the plan’s paid posts are locked. Update your payment method and pay again within 14 days, or the plan is cancelled automatically.

Why can I only see recent posts in a plan I just joined?

The plan probably has loyalty unlocks, which show only this month’s and last month’s posts at first, or the older posts have expired into a back-number plan.
