MyFans Plans Explained: Tiers, Bundles and Discounts

Updated 8 October 2026 · Based on MyFans’ official help centre

Most Japanese creators on MyFans run more than one plan, and the plan names are usually in Japanese. This guide explains what each kind of plan gives you and what to check before choosing.

A plan is a monthly subscription to a set of posts the creator has chosen. Creators can run several plans at different prices, a free plan, and a back-number plan for expired posts. Some offer 3-, 6- or 12-month bundles or a first-month discount. A more expensive plan doesn’t automatically include every post, so read each plan’s description first.

What a plan is

A plan is a monthly subscription to one creator. The creator names it, writes a description, sets the monthly price and chooses which posts it includes. A single post can be in more than one plan.

Plan prices run from free (¥0) or ¥50 up to ¥50,000 a month. Single posts, sold outside plans, cost ¥100 to ¥50,000.

Free plans still have to be joined: their posts are hidden until you subscribe, even though you pay nothing. Posts not tied to any plan or price are visible to every user.

Multiple tiers from one creator

Many creators run several plans at different prices. Creators choose the order the plans appear in and can mark one as recommended (おすすめ).

Higher tiers aren’t automatically “everything”. MyFans says joining a more expensive plan doesn’t guarantee you can see every post, because each creator decides what goes where. If a description doesn’t make it clear, MyFans suggests asking the creator before you join.

Some posts are sold both in a plan and as a single purchase. MyFans lets plan members buy the same post again as a single item, so check whether your plan already includes a post before you buy it separately.

A creator can close a plan to new subscribers, which hides it from anyone who hasn’t joined. If a plan you saw earlier has disappeared, that may be why.

Older posts: loyalty unlocks and back numbers

On plans with loyalty unlocks (継続特典), you see the current and previous month’s posts when you join, and older months unlock as you stay subscribed. The post count shown before you join is the plan’s total, not what you see on day one.

Posts whose publication period has ended move to the creator’s back-number plan, if they run one. Some creators also sell single back-number months. Our free posts and older posts guide covers both in detail.

Bundles and first-month discounts

A bundle lets you buy 3, 6 or 12 months of a plan in one payment. Creators choose whether to offer one, and the bundle options appear when you tap join (加入する). Bundles are meant to work out cheaper per month, but the whole period is paid upfront, renews automatically as the same bundle unless you cancel, and isn’t refunded if you stop early.

A first-month discount (a “campaign”) reduces only the first month. The creator sets the discount and can limit it by number of people or by date; from the second month you pay the normal price. You get it only once per plan, card payments on plans above a certain price don’t qualify, and some payment methods can’t use it.

A label such as “初月 ¥300 お得” describes the saving on the first month (お得 means “a saving”), not the price of the plan. On our profiles we list the normal monthly price and the first-month price separately, but always check the final total on MyFans’ confirmation screen, which also includes the purchase fee.

Creators can also hand out coupons, which you apply on the confirmation screen. Coupons can’t be used on bundles.

Reading “from” prices on our profiles

Where a creator has several plans, our profiles show a “from” price: the lowest monthly price we saw on their MyFans page on the date shown. The plan you actually want may cost more, so open the creator’s MyFans page and check the plan list before you subscribe.

Prices are set in yen and can change. Any conversion we show is a rough guide at the date stated — see MyFans prices in your currency.

How to choose

Start with the free posts and samples, then read each plan’s description and post count. Try the cheapest plan that clearly includes what you want, and check the plan page for loyalty unlocks if older posts matter to you.

Consider a bundle only once you know you’ll stay subscribed. If you move to a different plan, remember that MyFans won’t cancel the old one for you — see billing and renewal.

Quick answers

Does the most expensive plan include everything?

Not necessarily. Each creator decides which posts go into each plan, and MyFans says a higher-priced plan doesn’t guarantee access to all posts. Read the descriptions, or ask the creator.

Is a bundle refundable if I stop early?

No. A bundle is paid upfront with no pro-rata refund. If you cancel, you keep access until the period ends (for bundles bought from 14 November 2025).

Why didn’t my first-month discount apply?

You may have joined that plan before, the plan may be above the price where card payments qualify, or your payment method may not support it. The confirmation screen shows whether it applies.

Can MyFans refund me if a plan isn’t what I expected?

MyFans leaves plan contents to creators and says it doesn’t refund plans that differ from what you expected. Ask the creator directly.
