How to Read a Japanese MyFans Profile (Plans, Posts, Prices)

Updated and checked against the MyFans help centre on 9 October 2026

Short answer

From the top, a MyFans creator page shows the name and @ID; buttons to tip (チップを送る), follow (フォロー) and message (メッセージ); counts of posts, likes and followers, often with 過去30日の投稿数 (posts in the last 30 days); then a list of plans, each with a yen price per month, the number of posts linked to it (投稿N件) and a 加入する (join) button. The posts follow, with a 単品販売 tab for posts sold one by one. Before you press 加入する, check what the plan unlocks on day one and what it costs after any first-month deal.

Machine translation garbles the short Japanese labels on MyFans creator pages, and they decide what you pay. This page walks through a public profile from top to bottom, using the labels as they appear on myfans.jp and as MyFans’ help centre explains them. Where the help centre doesn’t explain a label, we say so. For a longer word list, see our Japanese terms glossary.

The top of the page: who, and how active

The display name comes first, then the ID after @. MyFans calls the ID a ユーザーネーム (username): letters and numbers that also form the profile’s URL. MyFans lets an ID be changed up to three times, and the old URL then stops working, so if a saved link breaks, search for the creator’s name.

Three buttons sit under the name: チップを送る (send a tip), フォロー (follow) and メッセージ (message). Following is free but unlocks nothing. Tips run from ¥100 to ¥5,000. The message button only works once the creator’s message room is open to you; until then MyFans shows メッセージルームが開放されていません, and you can’t open the room yourself.

Many profiles show 過去30日の投稿数:N本!, “posts in the last 30 days: N”. MyFans’ help centre doesn’t describe this line, so read it literally: a recent-activity count, not the number of posts you’ll see after joining. Next come the account totals: 投稿 (posts), いいね (likes), フォロワー (followers) and フォロー (accounts the creator follows).

Some profiles add おすすめのプラン料金 (recommended plan price) with → 1本あたり ¥N! (“per post”). On every profile we checked, that figure is the recommended plan’s monthly price divided by its post count. MyFans says the post count on a plan with loyalty unlocks is the total, not what you can open straight away, so the real cost per post in your first month can be far higher.

The plan list

Each plan card shows a name the creator chose, a yen price per month (/ 月), the number of posts linked to the plan (投稿N件) and a 加入する (join) button. A creator can run several plans, mark one as おすすめ (recommended) and set the order of the list, so the first card isn’t necessarily the cheapest.

A paid plan’s price is often followed by ~, as in ¥3,486 ~ / 月. MyFans’ help centre doesn’t explain the mark. On the profiles we checked, the recommended plan’s price at the top of the page was higher than the ~ price on the same plan’s card, which fits a lower monthly rate for a longer bundle. Treat a ~ price as the lowest the plan could cost, and check the price for each period after you press 加入する.

Bundles (バンドル, which MyFans also calls 複数月のプランまとめ買い, buying several months at once) cover 3, 6 or 12 months at a discount. MyFans takes the whole amount in one payment, renews the same term automatically unless you cancel by the day before renewal, and doesn’t give prorated refunds. Some payment methods can’t buy bundles. Since October 2026 the purchase screen also says when a coupon or first-month discount can’t be used with a multi-month payment.

A first-month deal reads 初月 ¥300 お得! (“first month, ¥300 off”), followed by the regular monthly price and the first-month price. MyFans says the discount covers the first month only, and from the second month you pay the regular price. It doesn’t apply if you’ve joined that plan before. BitCash can’t receive it, and MyFans says it doesn’t apply to card payments on plans above a certain price. More in first-month discounts.

継続特典あり marks a plan with loyalty unlocks: you see this month’s and last month’s posts at first, and older months open as you stay subscribed. A [ バックナンバープラン ] label marks a back-number plan, which opens only posts whose publication period has ended. A ¥0 plan costs nothing, but you still have to join it to see its posts. Plans explained compares the plan types.

Posts, single posts and samples

Below the plans, tabs split the posts: 投稿 (posts), 単品販売 (posts sold one by one) and, on some profiles, ブログ (blog) and バックナンバー. A post that isn’t attached to a plan or a price is free for every MyFans user.

A single post (単品) costs ¥100 to ¥50,000. A post can sit in a plan and be on sale singly at the same time, and MyFans lets plan members buy it singly as well, so check whether a plan you already have covers a post before you buy it. See single posts, tips and super comments.

Video posts show a sample to anyone who hasn’t joined the plan. MyFans notes that if the sample is a clip from the full video, it plays again as part of the full version after you pay.

Quick answers

Why is the price on a plan card lower than the price at the top of the profile?

The card price usually ends in ~, a mark MyFans’ help centre doesn’t explain. On the profiles we checked, it was lower than the recommended plan price at the top, consistent with a cheaper monthly rate on a longer bundle. Press 加入する to see the price for each period before you pay.

Does 投稿N件 tell me how many posts I’ll see?

Not always. MyFans says that on plans with loyalty unlocks (継続特典) the number is the total in the plan; at first you see only this month’s and last month’s posts.
