Japanese messages to copy
Short, polite messages in Japanese for writing to a creator or to MyFans support. Each one has the Japanese to copy, how it sounds and what it means.
How to use them
Press Copy Japanese, paste it into MyFans, and replace anything in 【 】 with your own details. You can paste the English meaning underneath, so the reader has both. All messages use the polite です/ます style.
To a creator
You send these from Messages (メッセージ) → the Creator tab (クリエイター). You can write only once the creator has opened a message room for you; if you see メッセージルームが開放されていません, the room isn’t open yet. How messages work
First message: is English OK?
Hajimemashite. Kaigai ni sunde iru fan desu. Nihongo ga amari tokui de wa nai node, eigo de messēji o okutte mo yoroshii deshō ka.
MeansNice to meet you. I’m a fan who lives outside Japan. My Japanese isn’t very good, so would it be all right if I wrote to you in English?
I’m using a translation app
Hon’yaku apuri o tsukatte kaite iru node, wakarinikui nihongo ga attara sumimasen.
MeansI’m writing this with a translation app, so I’m sorry if any of my Japanese is hard to follow.

Happy birthday
Otanjōbi omedetō gozaimasu. Suteki na ichinen ni narimasu yō ni.
MeansHappy birthday. I hope you have a wonderful year.
No need to reply
Oisogashii to omoimasu node, ohenji wa ki ni nasaranaide kudasai.
MeansI know you’re busy, so please don’t worry about replying.
- One message at a time is plenty. Creators set their own pace for replies, often from a different time zone.
- Keep it friendly and general. Don’t send your email address, phone number or card details in a message.
To MyFans support
MyFans’ help centre directs fans to its contact form: support.myfans.jp/hc/ja/requests/new (there’s also an English page for the same form, though some labels stay in Japanese). Paste one of these into the box that asks you to describe what’s happening. Start with the opening line, then add the message that fits.
- Email address
- The one registered with MyFans, or one where MyFans can reach you.
- Type of question
- Pick the closest topic. Most topics ask you to tick that you’ve read the matching help article first.
- Subject件名
- A few words, such as カード決済について (about a card payment).
- The letters and numbers after the @ on your account page It isn’t your login.
- Phone numbermyfans
- The number you verified.
- Card details (optional)
- Only the last 4 digits and the expiry date. Never send your full card number, security code or password.
- What’s happening
- Paste the message from below. MyFans asks for as much detail as possible.
- Language
- Required. Choose the language you use.
- Attachments (optional)
- A screenshot of the error. For a billing question, MyFans asks for a screenshot of the statement or notice showing the yen and local amounts, the merchant name, the time and whether the charge is final.
Opening line: I’m writing from overseas
MeansI use MyFans from outside Japan. My Japanese isn’t good, so a reply in English or simple Japanese would really help.
My card is refused
カードは日本国外で発行された【Visa/Mastercard/JCB】のカードです。

MeansI tried to pay by card, but the payment won’t go through. The screen shows “[the message you see]”. The card is a [Visa / Mastercard / JCB] issued outside Japan. My phone number is verified. What I’ve tried: [e.g. turned off browser translation / tried another browser / tried another card] Could you tell me what I should do? Thank you.

Did my cancellation go through?
[kurieitā-mei] san no [puran-mei] o [hizuke] ni kaiyaku shimashita. Yoroshiku onegai itashimasu.
MeansI cancelled [creator name]’s [plan name] on [date]. Could you check that the cancellation is complete and that I won’t be charged on the next renewal date? Thank you.
- Write dates as year, month, day, such as 2026年10月10日 or 2026/10/10.
- MyFans says replies are taking longer than usual and that it answers every question in turn. Send one request, not several.
- Locked out? Don’t open a second account; MyFans asks you to use the form instead. If you cancelled a plan by mistake, MyFans says you’d need to join again, which is a new charge, and that it can’t restore or refund the plan.
- Fix it yourself first: see card declined, can’t see a post and how to cancel.
Quick answers
Why can’t I send my message?
You can write only once the creator has opened a message room for you, and creators can switch off incoming messages. Fans can’t open a room themselves. See when you can’t send a message.
Will the creator reply in English?
It varies, and creators reply at their own pace. Our creator profiles show English support only where a creator has told us. Sending the Japanese with your English underneath gives them both.
Does MyFans support reply in English?
MyFans’ contact form asks which language you use (ご使用の言語), but MyFans doesn’t say which languages it replies in. The opening line above asks for English or simple Japanese.
