Fantia Post Select: Buying Single Posts and Sets

Updated and checked against the MyFans help centre on 11 October 2026

Short answer

Post Select (投稿セレクト) is a Fantia product that sells posts on their own or as a set. Buying one lets you view all the limited content in the posts it includes. Unlike back numbers, which need a paid plan, a Post Select item can usually be bought by anyone, though a creator can set it to require a plan.

Found one Fantia post you’d love to see, but don’t want a whole monthly plan just for that? That’s exactly what 投稿セレクト (Post Select) is for. Here’s how it works, how it differs from back numbers, and what to check before you buy.

First, what “limited content” means on Fantia

On Fantia, limited content (限定コンテンツ) is content you can only view if you’re in the matching monthly plan. A single post can carry several pieces of it, such as image galleries, file downloads, and streamed audio or video. Being in a higher plan unlocks the lower plans’ limited content too.

Creators can also set a joining deadline (入会期限) on limited content, so only people who joined by that date can view it. Fantia says this keeps things fair for long-time fans. Anyone who joined in time keeps access afterwards.

How Post Select works

A Post Select item is a package of posts the creator has picked: sometimes a single post, sometimes several related ones. Fantia pitches it for when you want to check out specific posts rather than a whole month. Buy it, and you can view all the limited content in every post it includes.

The big difference from a monthly plan is who can buy. Fantia says you can buy Post Select without joining a paid plan, although depending on the item’s settings, a plan may be required.

Post Select vs back numbers

Back numbers (バックナンバー) are Fantia’s other way into older content. They package a month’s limited content plan by plan, so “May, plan B” opens that month’s plan A and plan B content. They let fans who joined later see content whose joining deadline has passed, and you can keep viewing them after leaving the plan. But only members of one of the fan club’s paid plans can buy them.

What happens if posts are removed

Posts in a Post Select item are linked to the original posts. If the creator hides or deletes an original post, it becomes hidden inside the set too, for everyone including buyers; if they make it public again, you can see it again. If editing leaves a set with no valid posts (published posts containing paid-plan limited content), the set itself is hidden.

If the creator withdraws or deletes the Post Select item itself, it’s different from ordinary products: buyers keep access for as long as the included posts stay published. Only new purchases stop.

Paying for Post Select

Fantia lists the same payment methods for Post Select as for plans and back numbers: credit card, Tora Coin, convenience store, bank transfer (Pay-easy), atone pay-next-month and Minna no Ginko. Its card section names only JCB and American Express, with 3-D Secure required, and caps those brands at ¥50,000 per order and ¥100,000 per month.

Tora Coin is a prepaid web money usable on Fantia at one coin per yen, and its shop accepts several ways to top up, including JCB, American Express and Bitcash.

How MyFans does single posts

MyFans has a similar idea. A creator can put a post in a paid plan and also sell it as a single purchase, so you can unlock it either by joining the plan or by buying just that post. Even plan members can buy the same post separately.

Quick answers

What is 投稿セレクト on Fantia?

Post Select: a product that sells one post or a set of posts. Buying it lets you view all the limited content in the posts it includes.

Do I need a plan to buy Post Select?

Usually not. Fantia says anyone can buy it, though a creator can set an item to require a plan.

What’s the difference between Post Select and back numbers?

Back numbers package a whole month by plan and need a paid plan. Post Select packages chosen posts and usually doesn’t.

Will I lose access if the creator deletes a post in my set?

Yes, for that post. If the original post is hidden or deleted, it’s hidden inside the set for buyers too, until it’s made public again.

Which cards work on Fantia?

Fantia’s help page names JCB and American Express with 3-D Secure, capped at ¥50,000 per order and ¥100,000 per month.
